Embracing January's Peaceful Rhythm
We really love January—it’s such a peaceful time. It reminds us to slow down, and there’s something very satisfying about spending our days repairing, fixing, and maintaining toys. Theo Vilje enjoys this season just as much. Whether it’s with water, soap, or oil and wax, these simple hands-on tasks for toddlers have been perfect for him—first as a one-year-old, and now as a two-year-old.
These activities have become our main focus this month, especially as we go through all his wooden toys and cotton toys. He also loves when all the books come out to be cleaned. With a damp cloth in hand, he carefully goes through each page, happy to be part of the process. Hands-on activities for toddlers are not only fun but also help develop fine motor skills and independence.
